This Privacy Policy explains what information Accounting Tools ("we", "us") collects when you use the tools on this website, and how it is used.

1. Data you enter into tools

All calculators and generators on this site run entirely in your web browser. Amounts, names, invoice details, uploaded files and any other inputs are processed on your device and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers. Some tools save your inputs in your browser's local storage so they are still there when you return; this data never leaves your device and can be removed by using the tool's "Clear" button or by clearing your browser data.

A few tools fetch public reference data from third-party services (for example live currency exchange rates or IFSC bank-branch details). In those cases only the lookup value (such as a currency code or IFSC code) is sent to that service.

2. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our server logs record standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and referring URL. We count how many times each tool is opened to understand which tools are useful. We may use Google Analytics, which uses cookies to report aggregated usage statistics.

3. Advertising and cookies

We display advertisements served by Google AdSense and similar networks. These networks may use cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to show ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

4. Third-party links

Our pages may link to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites.

5. Children

This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
